Why have you kept a reference of “map on ring binder ++”?

Ahoy! Here's another gem from my Pinterest explorations. Ownership? Not mine. But a keen sense of style? Definitely.

Presenting ideas to clients has never been easier, thanks to Pinterest's visually appealing boards that can effectively convey a design style or brand character.

Design influence is everywhere around us, from the natural world to historical art movements, and it shapes our perception of brands and products. The essence of design is not just about making things look good; it's about creating a meaningful experience for users. In the intricate world of branding, how a brand is perceived by its audience can make or break its success. Design is the magical process of turning abstract ideas into tangible visuals, creating value and meaning.

What Pinterest tells us about this image

Map drawn as a cover for a ring binder I gave my mother’s for her 50st birthday. I made the map entirely by hand and with a brand pan – normal pencils won’t stick on the plastic of the ring binder. However, the varnish reacted somehow with the ink, so down under is blurred a bit (and a bit too much). Moreover, the ring binder isn’t exactly water proof anymore, so the varnish actually counteracts the purpose of itself. 2011. – This was originally posted on Pinterest. See the original
