Coaching & Talking about Neurodiversity

Building Businesses Beyond the Norm: Embracing the Neurodivergent Advantage

Running a business is never a straightforward journey. Add autism or ADHD into the mix, and the challenges—and opportunities—become even more unique. For years, I pushed through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship without knowing why my brain worked the way it did.

Being diagnosed with autism and ADHD at 45 was a game-changer. Suddenly, so many things made sense: my hyperfocus on projects, the overwhelming burnout, the struggle to fit into structures that felt unnatural, and the endless ideas that sometimes left me stuck in the weeds. It wasn’t just me being “different” or “difficult”—it was my brain operating in ways that the world wasn’t quite designed to accommodate.

That diagnosis didn’t just bring clarity; it brought empowerment. I reframed my experiences and began building strategies that fit me rather than forcing myself into moulds that didn’t.

Why I’m Sharing My Journey

Over the years, I’ve founded and grown businesses in tech, beverages, and candles—yes, candles! But what really drives me now is helping others with similar minds navigate the world of business. I want other neurodivergent entrepreneurs to know that they’re not alone, and they don’t have to force themselves to follow rules that weren’t built for them.

Neurodivergence isn’t a superpower, but it can be super powerful! Yes, it may come with challenges, but it’s also the source of your creativity, unique perspective, and drive. My goal is to help you channel all that into strategies that work for you—so you can run your business (and life) with more confidence, clarity, and joy.
